Reconnecting

We were connected,

and then we were not.

Let's reconnect with the one who created us

In this fast-paced world, it's common to feel a sense of disconnection and longing for something deeper. From the moment we are born, we are naturally connected to a greater universe.

However, as we grow older, we often lose touch with that connection, leaving us with an indescribable void.

This blog invites you to explore the concept of reconnecting and introduces meditation as a pathway to rediscover that profound connection within ourselves.

At birth, we were intimately linked to the universe through the fontanelle bone, also known as the soft bone. It was a time when we felt the presence of something greater than ourselves.

But as we grew, that bone calcified, severing our connection. We now yearn for peace, joy, and happiness, yet we struggle to find them because we don't fully grasp what we are truly seeking. We sense that something is missing, and it's time to unveil the mystery.

“You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you.”

by the founder of SahajaYoga - Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

In our modern lives, we constantly seek connection through various digital platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube. We engage with others, hoping to find a response or reaction that momentarily fills the void within us.

Yet, deep down, we know these connections are fleeting. Sometimes, we disconnect from everyone, retreating into mind-numbing videos or other internet distractions.

In these times, it's crucial to search our souls and look within ourselves to understand what we truly yearn for and how we can reconnect.

Consider the situations we find ourselves in: singles searching for companionship, students seeking jobs, workers chasing better paychecks or retirement, children yearning for parental love and attention, and parents longing for free time.

We search externally, believing that something outside of us holds the key. But the truth is, we're looking in the wrong place.

Enter Sahaja meditation, a practice that offers an answer that resonates on a deep level.

The philosophy of Sahaja centers around the inner energy residing at the base of our spine, within a triangular bone known as the sacrum.

Through meditation, we learn to raise this energy, guiding it to ascend through the top of our heads (once a soft bone).

This energy is the very essence seeking connection, yearning for union. It's something we've felt all our lives, yet remained unaware of its true nature.

When this energy rises and unites with the universe, a unique and blissful sense of satisfaction emerges—this is the essence of "reconnection."

In ancient Sanskrit, the term "Yoga" embodies this unity.

The beauty of this experience lies in the moments of thoughtlessness and heightened awareness it brings. It's a taste of true meditation—a glimpse into a state where our minds are silent, and we are fully present.

These moments are transformative, revealing the depths of our inner selves and the vastness of the universe within.

While words can convey the concept, the true understanding comes from personal practice and experience.

Reconnecting is a journey that begins within ourselves. It's a journey of exploring our inner landscapes, unearthing the energy that seeks connection with the universe.

Sahaja meditation offers a practical pathway to tap into this inner energy and experience the profound sense of reconnection.

By delving into this practice, you can discover the joy, peace, and fulfillment you have been yearning for. The moments of meditation unveil a taste of a state beyond thoughts—a state where the universe and your
